Russian Poker is a simple 6-card poker game. Russian poker is an exciting card game for 1-4 people. In Russian Poker players compete not with each other, they oppose the dealer. In the deck 52 cards, the highest in the suit - an Ace, the lowest - a Deuce. The dealer and a player get 5 cards, one of the dealer’s cards remains open. The player has several options: to refuse from the cards, to make a bet, to buy the 6th card for an extra bet and to change one or more of his cards. The key idea that Russian Poker gives the ability for the players to buy the 6th card and replace unsuitable one or more cards from a starting point. After all changes are made, the combination is compared and the player with the highest combination becomes a winner.


At the beginning of the round in Russian poker, each player places a mandatory ANTE bet. To make it, the player needs to choose the desired type of chip and click on the ANTE field.
If desired, the player can bet an additional bonus bet. To do this, the player should click on the BONUS field.
The bet wins if the player has one of the poker combinations below.
Each player can bet of any size. Player bets may not be the same.
The BONUS bet may not exceed the ANTE. The player also needs to know that BONUS can only be bet after the player has bet ANTE.

Russian Poker Gameplay

The dealer hands out 5 cards to all players.
Players can make the following decisions after they have made their bets:

- Close the box - double the size of ANTE (press the "Raise" button).
- Save - fold cards (surrender button).
- Exchange any number of cards for one ANTE (Change button).
- Buy 6th card for one ANTE (the button “6th card”).
- Insure the combination in case the dealer does not have a game.

The player who exchanged cards or bought the 6th card must review his cards and decide on the future course of the game. He can:

- Close the box
- Refuse to continue the game
- Insure combination


Insurance in Russian Poker

In Russian poker, there may be a situation when the dealer does not have a game. This means that the dealer does not have any poker combinations on his arm. In this case, there is a combination of insurance. Its value is equal to the BET rate. Only a player who owns a combination of no less than the "Three of a Kind" can take insurance.

The insurance fully covers the size of the rate. But it only works if the dealer doesn't have a poker hand on his hand. If the dealer has a poker hand, there is a game, the player loses his insurance.
The insurance bet does not lose if the player has a junior hand.


End of the game

The dealer and players open the cards when all the players have made a decision.
If the dealer has a game:

- combinations compare by poker seniority;
- if the combinations are the same rank, the seniority of the cards included in the combination is compared;
- when the cards that are included in the combination match, the cards of the greatest value of the player and the dealer are compared;
- in the case of matching cards of the greatest dignity, the cards that follow them by seniority, etc. are compared.

There are no priorities between the suits, so two layouts of cards of the same rank have the same value. At the same combinations, all bets are returned to the player except insurance.
If the dealer has a game, the player does not receive the initial ANTE bet.

- If, as a result of a comparison of combinations, the player's combination is higher than the dealer's, the BET bet is paid as described in the payout table
- If the player has two combinations, one of which is older than the dealer's, consistent payment of the main and additional player combination is made. Double combinations are counted if at least one card from one combination is not included in another
- If the dealer has an older hand, the player loses the ANTE and BET bets
- If the player has two combinations on his hand, each of them is paid
